The exhibition “From Titian to Rubens” at the Doge’s Palace

Running from 5 September 2019 to 1 March 2020 at the Doge’s Palace is the exhibition “From Titian to Rubens. Masterpieces from Antwerp and from other Flemish collections”.

Venice’s civic museums and galleries foundation, in collaboration with the city of Antwerp, VisitFlanders and the Flemish Community, hold the exhibition “From Titian to Rubens” at the Doge’s Palace.

The works on display belong to important Flemish collections and vaunt works by Titian, Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck and Michiel Sweerts.

The visual journey is divided into ten thematic sections which wind through the rooms of the Doge. The exhibition brings together about 80 paintings, drawings, glass items and statues, both Venetian and from Antwerp.
